When the sea says to the sky "kiss me, hug me", it gives a soft, supple, sensual dance step between the two lovers.
The sea says "kiss me" to the sky, and the sky colors its reflections red like a soft and passionate kiss.
The sea asks the sky "hug me", and the sky descends from the top of the universe on this loving lover from another world.
The palm tree sets the tempo of the orchestra behind it. We can see the clouds veiling the kisses of this couple in order to ensure them a moment of intimacy.
The distance between them, their very essences separate them, and, to us humans, their union seems impossible. And yet, love has brought them together in an image of serene beauty, tenderly ablaze. I feel bathed in the love of this couple and begin to hope that nothing is impossible for love.

Always ready to soar into the sky, jump, fly, bounce at the player's whim, the short life of these three friends is full of adventures, failures, victories. Sometimes in their pockets, sometimes strewn on the course, in their hands, they accept all the sacrifices imposed on them to hit the racket again and again, in a cry of suffering, and, for the final ball, undoubtedly a cry of joy. Three workers tirelessly at work until burnout. The game is over, here they are placed on the table for a well-deserved rest. They await the decision as to their fate. The luckiest will be offered as a game to a cat or a dog. The most worn out by hard work live their last moments.
The challenges of life can wear us down, and, rest one day imposes itself on us despite our will. Our last period of life sometimes depends on elements that we do not control. We all inexorably wait our turn towards the end.

Life's challenges can wear us down, and one day, despite our will, we are forced to rest. Our last period of life sometimes depends on factors beyond our control. We all inexorably await our turn towards the end.

Every evening, I walked on the beaches of Wailoaloa in Fiji. It was June 2022. Usually, June is beautiful, clear, bright. For the first time, this year and as far back as the Fijians can remember, there were a few nights of strong storms, intense rains. The sky rumbles, darkens, casts a dark veil over the island of Viti Levu. "Climate change" my friend, Ana, tells me. While my friend was telling me about climate change and its dramas, a wave threw a walnut at my feet. It was like a sign from life indicating to me that even in these difficult climate changes, life takes over, throwing the kernels, the seeds of a better future, onto the shores. The walnut is orange. The color orange is a derivative of the color red, the color of love, of life. While the sky is threatening, the landscape darkened. The ocean, the water source of life, has placed this beautiful coconut at my feet so that it can let the tree bloom within it. This photograph is very similar to the light that I seek to put in my paintings, my writings and the few photos that I also take. This photo is full of hope, love for humanity, brightness.

For the first time this year, and for as long as Fijians can remember, there were a few nights of heavy thunderstorms and intense rain. The sky rumbled and darkened, casting a shadow over the island of Viti Levu. "Climate change", my friend Ana tells me. While my friend was telling me about climate change and its tragedies, a wave threw a walnut at my feet. It was like a sign from life telling me that even in these difficult climatic changes, life takes over again, throwing the seeds of a better future onto the coasts. The nut is orange. Orange is derived from red, the color of love and life. The sky is threatening, the landscape dark. The ocean, the source of life, has laid this beautiful coconut at my feet so that it can let the tree blossom inside. This photograph resembles the light that I try to bring to my paintings, my writings and the few photos that I also take. This photo is full of hope, love for humanity and luminosity.

I was there, standing, facing this image. I remained motionless before the beauty of the blue released by this nature and sublimated by the extraordinary light of the moment. The message of the image seemed obvious to me. The endless horizon of the sea comes to embrace the sky with force and softness, passion comes after patience. You have to go to the end of this deeply blue ocean to touch the sky, caress it, and benefit from the softness of the clouds, the purity of the sky. I felt the achievement as a reward in the life of patient and constant work. My feet leave the earth of this island yet green with hope and here I am plunged into this sea of surreality, this quiet eternity when it is oily and superhuman by the challenge taken up to touch the sky, go around the boats like obstacles and finally melt into the pure sheets of the bed of the stars, the stars and the gods. Life is a succession of challenges, the important thing is to take up pure challenges, benevolent for your neighbors and the Earth, to hold on to them, to pursue them with sometimes patience and sometimes vigor and success will inevitably be there in a much more beautiful way than expected.

There I was, standing in front of that image. I stood motionless in front of the beauty of the blue emanating from this natural environment and sublimated by the extraordinary light of the moment. The message of the image became clear to me. The endless horizon of the sea embraces the sky with strength and gentleness, passion comes after patience. You have to go all the way to the end of this deep blue ocean to touch the sky, to caress it, to enjoy the softness of the clouds and the purity of the sky. It felt like a reward in the life of patient, constant work. My feet left the earth of this island, so green with hope, and here I was, plunged into this sea of surreality, this quiet eternity when it is of oil and superhuman by the challenge taken up to touch the sky, to go around the boats like obstacles and finally to melt into the pure sheets of the bed of the stars, the stars and the gods.
Life is a succession of challenges, but the important thing is to take up pure challenges that are benevolent towards your fellow human beings and the Earth, to hold on to them, to pursue them with both patience and vigor, and success will inevitably come in a much more beautiful way than you had hoped.

The photographer lets himself be carried away by passion, in pursuit of the image that gives him emotions. Kneeling, his eye on the viewfinder, alone in his bubble, he forgets his friend the dog. He lets go of the leash and takes the risk that the dog runs away. The dog's attitude invites the photographer not to worry about him. Ears pricked, he seems to ensure that his master has the time and tranquility necessary to capture the moment, the image that will amaze his soul and enchant those who look at him. Complicity, trust and love of beautiful images unite them. The dog and his master are one. This image moved my soul as a photographer when I saw the dog watching over a sort of invisible bubble where the kneeling photographer captured the moment before the next minute takes him away. Two totally different individuals form a harmonious whole that works well together. Difference enriches them, trust gives them complicity and the world belongs to them.

A few years after taking this photo, I am still full of emotions when I look at it.

Two individuals who are totally different in every way form a harmonious whole that works well together. Difference enriches them, trust gives them complicity, and the world belongs to them.
